For my purposes, using it as a briefcase/laptop case, it is simply not suitable. To remove almost anything from inside, you have to completely unzip both side zippers. Very inconvenient at airport security. The file openings are deceptive. The tops look to be generous size openings but then tapers to a "V" shape to the bottom. Fine for a few papers, but anything somewhat thicker will not fit completely to the bottom. The thicker the file, the less deep it will fit,I fly every week. In first class, the case will fit under most seats. In coach or on commuter flights, forget it.The quality of the case is good and it is attractive and has an imressive removeable laptop pouch. However, I have decided to keep it not to use as a brief case/laptop case but an additional piece of luggage when a smaller bag is appropriate. A soft side case for daily use turns out ot be the best choice after all; at least for me.
