Nice size but it will tip over...
By YadaYada
We purchased this to put toys and things for our 2 year old during flights. The design ensures that we can open up the entire suitcase (during flight) to access toys, snacks, etc during the flight which is great. However, when you are waiting in-line for check-in etc, unlike our other luggage pieces which have 4 wheels, this piece (because it is soft-sided as well) tips over (even after placing the heavy / solid items on the bottom). It is a minor annoyance but enough to be frustrating when your hands are full.

Dakine always makes quality!

Just a great small carry-on. Zippers are large and seem well made, wheels are large too and can be replaced( i have broken several wheels on other types of carry-ons on the past so this is a plus). The sides are flexible and therefore the bag can squeeze into tight overhead bins easily. Also the handle is very sturdy and well built

does the job
By Bella Piccolina
I've only used this bag once since I've received it, but it appears to do its job. I didn't rate it five stars because I find it to be heavier than average roller bags (and who wants that when traveling - esp via airplane) and something about the construction makes it difficult to stand upright. This problem is worse after packing it. It took quite a few adjustments before I could leave it stand on its own. Additionally, while some other roller bags have seamless inside construction - this one does not. It is a bag with heavy handle bars and a piece of orange fabric Velcro'd over the bars. This means small items can get lost or stuck behind the "back" of the bag. One of the pros, I think, is that the orange is really, really orange. This makes your bag easy to spot in case you do have to check it. Unfortunately, after checking mine, I was disappointed to see what looks like coffee mug rings on the front of the bag. While this is certainly the airlines fault, it is unfortunate that this fabric could stain so easily - after only one trip.
