This messenger bag is great. I counted literally 12 pockets (including cell phone and water bottle pouches) on this bag. The main compartment is very spacious yet the bag looks no wider than any of the other Travelon purses I've owned!I really like the material a lot more on this one. I have owned a total of 4 Travelon purses and all of them had lots of compartments and amazing material, but this one really takes the cake. The material is usually very thick and durable on all Travelon purses, but on this one the material is actually kind of stiffer, which I really liked. That means the bag won't fold and look weird in certain spots. It's almost like lunch box material, but not quite, and I'm not sure if that's what they were going for, but it certainly looks great.The only con I could find was that I think the strap was really thin for how big the bag was. On other Travelon purses, the strap is usually very thick, but on this one that wasn't the case. I did like the fact that it was removable, so I took another removable strap, which was way thicker, and put it on this purse and voila! Much better! Other than that small qualm, it's great! We'll see how long the strap rings hold up over time though. I've had straps rip off on previous Travelon purses I've owned, so maybe the whole detachable strap rings is a better way to go.The number of pockets is simply amazing and it is the perfect size. I will not buy anything above 9" in height or width because I refuse to be one of those ladies who carries a flipping suitcase around on her shoulder XD lol So if you want an extremely compact bag, Travelon is always the way to go, and I think this is probably one of their best ones yet. They just need to fix the thin strap problem and it's that much more awesome.Another feature I really loved, and which I thought was an improvement from previous Travelon products, is the magnetized flap. They decided to put the magnets on the inside of the material instead of on the outside. My first Travelon Purse, I had the problem of the magnet coming clean off because I was always opening the flap so much and I also run around a lot so the bag would bounce. That put a lot of strain on the magnet, which there was only one of. Now Travelon is using two magnets per flap and putting them on the inside of the material, so not only does it look much better, it also functions much better at keeping the flap closed down.Fashion-wise, I find Travelon's bags to be minimalistically stylish enough to wear with any outfit and you won't look too underdressed, no matter what the occasion. The material is durable, yet shiny and soft enough to not look trashy or too manly :) I highly recommend this product!

I ordered this bag thinking it would be the perfect purse for me. I don't carry much in my purse (a thin wallet, prescription sunglasses in a hard case, small notepad, lip balm) and thought that a small paperback book would also fit.The bag is well-constructed and seems solid. However, I found it difficult to get stuff in and out of the bag because the flap is very stiff. It also was bulging full with just my few purse items, and there wasn't room for anything else. Many of the pockets are too small to be functional - for example, the cell phone pocket didn't fit my cell phone, which isn't a big one (an LG Rumor). I also found the thin strap uncomfortalbe, hard to keep on my shoulder, and too thin for a bag of this size.I'm sure this bag is fine for the traveller who only needs a passport, small wallet, and maybe a PDA or some sort. If you're looking for a small airplane bag to also hold your book or other small items, I think it would be too small.

This bag was featured on the Today Show.It had a place for everything: Passport, Driver's License, etc...After receiving it, it is as great as what was featured over the TV.I'd highly recommend this product to the traveler.
