I have a total of 427,531 miles on my current Briggs and Riley 20" expandable. Most of those miles were carry-on and a around 15 checked flights. I did lose a screw to the expandable mechanism but replaced that and no problems since. Handles work like the day they were new. I am upgrading to a new bag to lessen the 12lbs of the current one. I highly recommend this brand.
