After searching for several weeks for light weight luggage, I found this Samsonite product. I bought one piece first, for a trial run, and it was extremely successful.I took it to Paris, and on a river cruise--so it was handled quite a bit. When I got home, it was easy to get rid of the black scuff marks on the suitcase. I love it too much for it to look damaged.The greatest delight was handling it myself when necessary. The weight and the 360 wheels made it less than a challenge for a 67 year old female!Have since purchased it for the family for Christmas. Hope they love it as I do! I have two new pieces for my next trip.......

My new carry-on arrived and I have mixed feelings about it already.I wanted a hardside carry-on with in-line skate wheels to maximize packing space. This is what I searched for and this was one of the top items. Well, it is not hard shell, not even hard side - it is very flexible and thin. Much thinner than my previous polycarbonate Samsonite hard shell.What does "fully featured interior with multiple pockets for organization" mean? One large pocket, but not full size, in a divider between the top and bottom. The second pocket? The divider surface itself is like a sewn in membrane covering all cross section and can be unzipped 1 inch in along 3 sides, creating a large pocket on the lid side. I like this solution, because small items that I usually put to fill in the corners will not fall out when opening the bag. But this is not a pocket, it is instead of the lid side packing space. There is no small pocket along the connected sides. Maybe they are counting the zipped lining as pockets? Not very convenient, because the zippers have nothing to pull on.There is no exterior pocket, but I did not expect one after seeing the pictures.No hinges, just more flexible plastic (oops, sorry, polyestercarbonate). This makes me nervous. My first Samsonite Silhouette lasted about 15 years and it was really hard shell. My second (polycarbonate) Silhouette's hardside cracked on a corner in less than two years... What is going on with the quality of products? Is Samsonite also regulated and cannot use sturdy materials?The exterior indentations form convex bumps on the inner side, so there is no flat surface inside. Lining is not padded, just nylon fabric.There are 3.5" circumference oval tubes on the bottom inner side that hold the telescoping handle. These tubes are not attached to the external wall. In fact, there is some clearance in between.The outside surface is shiny and fingerprints show up easily. Other users reported that it scratches easily.There is no side handle.Finally something good: the 20" dimension is without protruding wheels, so I can pack a little more than into a spinner and top carry handle and the bag is really light: 6 pounds. However, the new carry-on measurement limits may be exceeded for international flights (20" with the wheels). Check with your carrier.I am considering returning it right away. If I keep it, I will update this review.
