I really wanted to like this rolling bag, but poor construction / durability force me to recommend buyers to move on (I have had good success with McKlein bags). I use a rolling bag to transport a laptop computer and several pounds of files/papers to work / home and while traveling. My daily commute includes a train ride and about a 10 minute walk across several downtown streets, including several that are not in good shape. I began to see the nylon along the base of this bag starting to wear down after the first day of use. The bag sits low on the wheels - this is great for stability but very bad if you pull the bag across an uneven surface such as down a curb, up a curb, across broken pavement, across a rock, etc. Within a week the nylon was completely gone and the metal bar that runs across the base was exposed for about 1/2 of the base length. This is unacceptable for a bag at this price point. Further, I found the front handle strap missing after day 5. The strap was torn from the base and just gone. I may have pulled the bag past a row a seat at one point earlier in the day, and the strap may have gotten stuck on a seat. This is conjecture as I do not recall an incident that may have caused this level of damage. I am forced to assume the straps are extremely fragile and not of sufficient quality to handle daily use.On the positive side the bag is very light, has a well organized interior, and IMO offers a good balance of size and capacity. Also the wheels are very smooth and nearly silent. If you only need this bag to roll in setting such as airports or other smooth surfaces, then this may be a good option for you. However, any exposure to sidewalks, pavement, or uneven surfaces may destroy your bag.

I bought this bag on September 27. By October 7, I discovered the bottom scrapes along the ground as I pull it behind me and had already torn across the bottom where it makes contact with the ground. Either the wheels aren't big enough to elevate the bag off the ground -- since, by its nature, it's INTENDED to be pulled along and should not be damaged in that way -- or the bag dips too low in the center between the wheels. In no event should this part of the bag ever be able to touch the ground, so I'm baffled as to why it was constructed that way. So the bottom is all scuffed and torn up, but at least the top and interior are in great condition. yay. :-\
