We already own a larger size of the Mach series of Boyt luggage and wanted a carry-on size. Boyt is well designed and well made. We took a 3-day trip and the carry on size held everything for 2 people. Also, Amazon's price was $50 less than a local retail luggage store.

I have always purchased cheap luggage previous to this piece. After constantly having my luggage fall apart through various trips, I figured it was time to buy a quality piece of luggage. After searching many brands, I settled on Boyt for their reviews and warranty.I have taken this luggage on 10 trips so far and it has held up well. The wheels help it glide easily and can really tell a difference between this and my old luggage. I have never had a problem fitting this in to the overhead bins. It fits almost perfectly.Would highly recommend this luggage!

As a longtime Boyt customer, I have high expectations for their products. This bag does not disappoint in terms of construction, features, versatility and quality materials. I've done the research; this bag performs as well as competitors charging much more. My wife and I do extensive travel, and she's giving me her Mach II carry on from 1993 with over 500k mi and way too many trips to count. It looks brand new, excepting a scuff here and there, and replacing a couple of lost zipper tabs.This bag, along with the matching Mach 6 Boarding Tote as a perfect companion (its back pocket converts to a sleeve that slips over the retractable handle), will guarantee no more baggage fees nor long waits at luggage carousels.Our experience also finds that 2 wheel gliders are much more effective to get around than the 4 wheel 'spinners' being marketed. Those little wheels just aren't as durable, and seem to have a mind of their own when trying to maneuver through airports. They also are prone to getting stuck and bumping uncontrollably when negotiating a path through parking lots, trains, streets and uneven pavement.Lastly, this bag, along with the companion Boarding Tote, will get you through a week's business travel, or a two week leisure trip at a minimum. This combination will happily encourage you to pack sensibly, as championed by [...]Happy travels ... you won't regret purchasing this bag.
